CIRCUIT DE L'ITALIE DU SUD

ITINERAIRE

Jour 1 : Arrivée à Rome

Petit-déjeuner. Arrivée à l'aéroport international de Rome Fiumicino. Accueil par notre accompagnateur, qui sera présent tout au long du circuit. Transfert à l'hôtel à Rome. Dîner et nuit à l'hôtel.

Jour 2 : Départ pour Ostuni

Petit-déjeuner. Départ en direction des Pouilles. Déjeuner libre en cours de route. Arrivée dans la région d'Ostuni. Installation à l'hôtel. Dîner et nuit à l'hôtel.

Jour 3 : La Vallée d'Itria : Alberobello, Locorotondo et Cisternino

Petit-déjeuner. Départ pour Alberobello, la célèbre ville des trulli, petites maisons circulaires coiffées d'un toit conique. Visite guidée de cette ville unique au monde, classée au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Vous découvrirez les 1 400 trulli regroupés sur les collines des quartiers Monti et Aia Piccola. Poursuite vers Locorotondo en traversant la Vallée d'Itria, caractérisée par ses terres rouges plantées de vignes et d'oliviers. Déjeuner libre. Visite des ruelles concentriques de Locorotondo, qui mènent au sommet de la colline et offrent un magnifique panorama sur la vallée. Continuation vers Cisternino, classé parmi les plus beaux villages d'Italie. Ses maisons aux cours intérieures et aux escaliers extérieurs rappellent l'architecture orientale. Le village offre une vue splendide sur la campagne parsemée de trulli. Retour à l'hôtel. Dîner et nuit.

Jour 4 : Ostuni et Lecce

Après le petit-déjeuner, départ pour la visite guidée d'Ostuni. Entourée de remparts et perchée sur trois collines, la célèbre « Ville Blanche » domine la mer Adriatique. Vous découvrirez sa magnifique cathédrale ainsi que ses ruelles animées où travaillent de nombreux artisans. Continuation vers Lecce pour une visite guidée de ce joyau de l'art baroque, qui abrite plus de quarante églises ainsi qu'un remarquable amphithéâtre romain. Déjeuner libre. Retour dans la région d'Ostuni en fin d'après-midi. Dîner et nuit à l'hôtel.

Day 5: Matera and the Bay of Naples

Breakfast. Departure for Matera, famous for its Sassi, ancient dwellings carved into the limestone rock. Your guided visit will allow you to discover this extraordinary example of Mediterranean architecture, inhabited since prehistoric times and recently restored. Free lunch. Continue towards the unforgettable Gulf of Naples. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Naples

After breakfast, guided tour of Naples. In the historic centre, you will discover Piazza del Plebiscito, Galleria Umberto I, Castel Nuovo and the exterior of Castel dell’Ovo, before strolling through the streets of the typical and lively popular district of Spaccanapoli. Free lunch. Continue the visit of Naples. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Pompeii/Rome

Breakfast. Guided visit of Pompeii, the Roman city buried in 79 AD by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. As soon as you pass through Porta Marina, you will imagine the vibrant life of the ancient Roman city while walking along its streets, entering the villas and discovering the forum, temples and theatres. At the end of the visit, departure for Rome. Free lunch along the way. Arrival in Rome, hotel accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Departure from Rome

After breakfast, free time according to the flight departure schedule and transfer to Rome Fiumicino International Airport. End of our services.
